LaLiga knocks down an application to watch football for free and it revives in seconds

Nodito App

The LaLiga anti-piracy department is working hard to put an end to all the websites and applications that are responsible for illegally retransmitting the live signal of the different channels that allow watch the games live without paying. One of his last actions has gone against noditoan application for Android that allowed watch live games for free at the click of a button

LaLiga contacts GitHub

Nodito had become quite a popular application among users. Available for download via GitHub in .apk format, users just had to download and install it on their Android device to gain access to all live broadcast channels.

LaLiga doesn’t like this at all, obviously, so it sent a statement requesting the withdrawal of the application from the GitHub servers. The reason was quite clear, and it is that from LaLiga they completely prohibit the possibility of replicating content that violates the rights of the clubs that are part of the league.

From GitHub they quickly responded by removing the application from the repositories, since they effectively understood that the main function of Nodito.apk is to hack a pay television signal.

Deleted? Not so fast

But it seems that the developers of Nodito are not going to give up, and the solution to this problem is so simple that it didn’t take them long to solve the situation. Basically through their Linktree profile have posted three different links from where you can download the application, one of which is still the GitHub servers, since they have limited themselves to creating a new folder and hosting the application there. Bright.

We imagine that LaLiga will repeat the process of writing to GitHub so that they delete the file, however, the application will continue to be cloned in other hosting services and even in Google Drive, where a copy also currently exists.

It is curious to see how with similar actions, Nintendo has not only managed to knock down a developer, but has also managed to scare external developers with a simple threat of cease and desist. LaLiga, on the other hand, does not seem to have enough authority to make the message clear, so we’ll see if he decides to take more drastic measures through the courts.
