Learn how to fix these frustrating Discord problems

In general, we do not talk about problems that should appear frequently, but we do find them in certain situations and we must know how to act. And it is that, although the appearance of any of these problems can make us put our hands to our heads, you should not panic. We can also test delete Discord AppData folder from our PC. To do this we must press the keyboard shortcut Windows + R to launch the Run command and type% appdata%. Once the location is open, we look for the Discord folder. In case it does not appear, we must show hidden files and folders from the File Explorer. Once located, click on it with the right button and click on Delete. Once this is done we check that the problem has been resolved.

The cause of the problem is derived from not having updated to the latest version on NET Framework from Microsoft. Discord can sometimes show a gray screen while loading the app. To solve it we can try delete Discord folder in AppData. To do this with the application closed, press “Ctrl + Shift + Esc” to access the Task Manager. We right-click on the Discord processes and click End Task to kill the open processes. Next, we press Windows + R and write % appdata% to open the Roaming folder in AppData. We look for Discord and delete it. Finally, we restart the application.

We can also test change Discord compatibility. To do this, we right-click on the application’s shortcut and select “Properties”. Later we click on the “Compatibility” tab and check if the box next to “Run this program in compatibility mode” is checked. We select “Windows XP (Service Pack 2)” in the list of options.
