Lenovo renews its Yoga range with new thinner and more powerful Pro and Slim laptops

Lenovo has renewed its family of Yoga laptops With several equipment of the Pro and Slim lines, characterized by having a thinner chassis and an increase in power compared to previous models. They all integrate the Windows 11 operating system, and the Yoga Pro 9i has a Mini-LED PureSight screen.

Four of them (Yoga Pro 9i, Yoga Pro 7, Yoga Pro 7i and Toga Slim 7) also carry Premium Suite, a package of improvements and novelties among which is the new Yoga keyboard, with larger keys to make using it more comfortable and efficient. In addition, they incorporate four microphones, four noise-cancelling speakers, quieter fans, and a larger trackpad than other models.

The new equipment in the Yoga Pro range has an updated version of the hardware and software feature set Lenovo XPower. These are optimized so that professionals who use their computers for creative work have more facilities. For example, they allow video editing processes to be faster, since their software speeds up preview, rendering and exports. In addition, they better withstand heat thanks to a greater thermal capacity, which improves the speed in rendering graphics and video, as well as in 3D rendering. All while the equipment stays cool and noise-free.

As with the previous generation of Yoga laptops, they all have Lenovo AI Engine+, which gives its users faster and more intuitive performance, and the ability to understand their needs in terms of power consumption and battery based on what they are doing with the equipment. In addition, it includes Lenovo Intelligent Sense and Integrated Security. On the other hand, all new Lenovo Yoga computers offer Lenovo Smart Lock, a cloud-based security software that allows you to remotely locate the computer, erase its data and recover stolen and lost devices.

Lenovo Yoga Pro i9

Equipped with a 13th generation Intel Core mobile processor, the Lenovo Yoga Pro i9 integrates an Nvidia RTX 4070 GPU. It is available in two colors, Tidal Teal and Storm Grey, and has a PureSight Pro screen, both in its 14.5 version inches as in the 16-inch.

The 16-inch model can reach a resolution of 3.2K and a brightness of 1,200 nits, with a refresh rate of 165 Hz. It has an integrated 5 Megapixel webcam. Its keyboard is made from 50% post-consumer recycled plastic in the keyboard, and its bottom cover is made from 50% recycled aluminum. Both models will be available in North America beginning in May.

Lenovo Yoga Slim 7

This new Yoga laptop, characterized by its thin casing, only 13.9 millimeters thick, the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 offers a 14.5-inch OLED PureSight screen, with up to 3K resolution. This has Eyesafe certification and the TÜV Rheinland hardware solution responsible for reducing blue light.

Its processor is from the AMD Ryzen 7000 family and in its casing there are six speakers, of which the two on the back are subwoofers that extend from end to end of the equipment. In addition, it includes two dual fans. Its battery has a capacity of 70Wkr and offers fast charging, which gives the opportunity to recharge it for a range of two hours in a 15-minute charge. It will go on sale in the EMEA region from June, for a starting price of 1,499 euros.

Lenovo Yoga Pro 7 and Yoga Pro 7i

These two models mount an Nvidia GPU, to choose between the RTX 3050 and 4050 models, a 73 Whr battery and a 15.6-millimeter-thick chassis. The Yoga Pro 7i carries the Unison connectivity solution, which makes it easy to connect the equipment with Android and iOS devices.

In addition, this model has a 14.5-inch screen and PureSight Pro technology with a resolution of up to 3K, a brightness of 400 nits and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. As for the Yoga Pro 7, with the same type of screen, has four speakers and an infrared FHD camera, Time of Flight sensor and privacy cover for the webcam. The Yoga Pro 7 will be available in North America from July, while the Yoga Pro 7i will be available in EMEA from April. from €1,099.

Lenovo Yoga 7 and Yoga 7i

These two models have among their distinctive features a chassis with rounded edges. The Yoga 7, with 14-inch and 16-inch variants, is a convertible whose screen can rotate up to 360 degrees and can be turned into a tablet by placing the screen on top of the keyboard. Both can have a 13th generation Intel processor or one from the AMD Ryzen 7000 family. Their screens offer a 16:10 aspect ratio and have a 2.8K OLED panel.

The Lenovo Yoga 7 and 7i are available with 14-inch and 16-inch screens. The 14-inch Yoga 7 will not arrive in North America and its base price will be 899 euros. It will arrive in EMEA in May. The 16-inch Yoga 7, and both variants of the Yoga 7i will be coming to North America, where they will go on sale starting in April.

Yoga Slim 6

This ultra-slim model has an aluminum casing and AMD Ryzen 7000 processors. It is available in two different shades of gray. It incorporates a 14-inch screen and will be available in several countries in the EMEA area starting next month for a price that part of the 899 euros.
