Let’s watch Henry Cavill explain the difference between Warhammer and World of Warcraft

Henry Cavill is currently participating in a promotional tour for the second season of Netflix’s The Witcher series and, in one of his last appearances, was a guest of the The Graham Norton Show. Here, Cavill was asked to talk about one of his many geek hobbies which, as fans have long known, is to collect, paint and play with miniatures of Warhammer 40,000 (and not those of World of Warcraft, as incorrectly stated by the host).

Henry Cavill explained to Graham Norton Show the difference between Warhammer and World of Warcraft

During the episode, Norton asked the actor, who plays Geralt of Rivia on the Netflix show, some information about his hobby which, as the host discovered, is not painting and playing with “World of Warcraft”. Cavill has fascinatingly corrected Norton, proceeding to explain how the hobby has two different aspects: painting connected to collecting, and the side of the game.

Of course, like a true Warhammer nerd, Cavill engages in both aspects of this popular hobby.

“You, uh, put together small armies and fight someone else’s army. It’s really — it’s fun! It sounds ridiculous, but it’s fun “

The actor’s enthusiasm was infectious to the point that colleague and guest, Tom Holland, said he was eager to try the game and ready to surprise himself at Cavill’s house. And all of this is wonderful.

Here is the video of the interview:

Curiously, just a few days ago Henry Cavill posted a selfie made on the set of The Witcher 2, adding the sentence:

“Here is a photo from my private collection. I can’t decide if you’re in the Witcher or the Warhammer section… maybe both? Maybe Neoth? “
