The LG CineBeam HU715Q is an ultra short throw laser projector, which means it is capable of creating a large screen with an exceptionally short throw distance. More specifically, and according to data from LG, can create a 100-inch screen with just 21.7 cm of distance.

When it comes to image quality, the projector features 8.3 megapixels that use laser technology and offer 4K UHD native resolution (3840 x 2160 pixels). The LG CineBeam HU715Q offers a ratio of 2M:1 contrast in order to correctly express both darkness and brightness. On the other hand, it offers a color gamut of 85% of the DCI-P3 color space and a 2500 ANSI lumens brightness.

In addition to offering 4K UHD resolution, LG’s new projector is compatible with HDR10, HLG and even HGiG, the HDR system used in games. On the other hand, the LG CineBeam HU715Q uses a dynamic tone mapping which uses meaningful signal range (frame by frame) instead of simple signal range.

On the other hand, with the Improved WARPING of 4/9/15 points which supports not only 4-corner but also 9-point and 15-point warping functions, we can adjust the screen distortion and set a more accurate screen.

To all this is added a environmental sensor, which automatically recognizes the lighting conditions and adjusts the brightness mode suitable for the human eye. And the adaptive contrast, which gives more depth to the image by adaptively adjusting the laser output to the image, to create a high contrast ratio. This way bright scenes appear brighter, while dark scenes remain detailed with deep blacks and shadow detail.
