LG introduces its new CineBeam Smart portable projector

Last week we published our updated projector guide, highlighting portable models as a good starting point for home theater due to their benefits of portability, versatility of use, and generally lower cost. The new LG Cinebeam PF510Q that the South Korean firm has just launched is a good example of a premium portable projector.

LG says that its new projector “offers users a unique entertainment experience without sacrificing comfort or quality”. And it is that its light and compact design (weight less than 1 kg) facilitates its transport from one room to another or on the go, combining with any space since it is capable of displaying content on screens from 30 inches to 120 inches.

LG Cinebeam PF510Q

Technically, the LG Cinebeam PF510Q features a 4ch (RGBB) LED lamp capable of offering a brightness of 450 ANSI lumens and a 150,000:1 contrast ratio. Supports native resolutions FHD (1920 x 1080 pixels), has automatic vertical keystone correction and the manufacturer promises a lamp life of up to 30,000 hours.

It has two HDMI input ports, Ethernet LAN and also USB, although its strong point is that can work without the need for external sources since the webOS 22 operating system it uses makes it easy to access streaming services and devices such as Disney+, PrimeVideo, YouTube or AppleTV+, It is compatible with Apple Air Play and Apple Home and can also wirelessly receive content from Android devices using the function of Screenshare integrated.

It also has a 5-watt speaker (mono) that will only serve for basic use, but here again it stands out for its ease of connection to external audio systems with support for Bluetooth Audio Dual Out.

The LG Cinebeam PF510Q is now available in the United States for $599 and we hope that the manufacturer will distribute it soon in other markets. Obviously, it will not compete in image quality with fixed models with 4K resolution (like the ones LG has in this same series), but it will achieve its goal, bringing the smart TV experience to any part of the home, home theater or video games.
