The firm LG has presented the monitors 32SQ730S-W and 32SQ780S-W, two models that have the same screen size and that offer a similar level of features, although at the same time they have an important difference that makes them recommendable for different use scenarios. Before going into that difference, we are going to review everything they have in common.
Both monitors come equipped with WebOSLG’s well-known operating system, which means they have a smart side and can be used independently to access different services and apps, including YouTube, Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime Video and AppleTV.
They also use the same panel, which is type VAwhich means they offer viewing angles of up to 178 degrees, have a size of 31.5 inches, have a depth of 1.07 billion colors, have a contrast ratio of 3,000:1, reach a brightness of 250 cd/m2, their response time is 5 ms, reproduces 90% of the DCI-P3 color space and 4K resolution (3,840 x 2,160 pixels), which gives us an optimal pixel density per inch.
Both support HDR10 and have a wide range of connectors, among which we can highlight the two HDMI outputs, the USB Type-C, the two USB 2.0 Type-A and the LAN connector. They also have two 5 watt speakerswhich means that they can start to be used perfectly without having to connect any type of peripheral to them.
The LG 32SQ730S-W comes with a standard stand and has dimensions of 714 mm wide, 260 mm deep and 487-567 mm high. Its weight is 9.1 kg, and it is adjustable in inclination and height. For its part, the 32SQ780S-W model uses a ergonomic arm support It has dimensions of 714 mm wide, 408 mm deep and 517-647 mm high, weighs 11.1 kg and is height adjustable.
The LG 32SQ730S-W is expected to arrive with an approximate price of 609 euroand that the model 32SQ780S-W is around 699 euro. The first will be available from March, and the second will go to April.
