The new LG OLED 2022 televisions are now available in Spain. At least the models that we could call main, since the LG OLED Z2 (model with 8K resolution) will be launched a little later. As is logical, the new models arrive to replace the well-known A1, B1, C1 and G1 models from last year. Following the same name that LG has been using for a couple of years, in 2022 the LG OLED C2 and the LG OLED G2 arrive on the market, both with Evo panel and with «Brightness Booster» technology. On the other hand we have the LG OLED A2 and B2two somewhat more affordable ranges that have a simpler OLED panel.
The LG OLED 2022 range has some important news. For example, for the first time we will have 42 and 97 inch models, although we will have to wait until the end of the year for the larger screen to hit the market. On the other hand, LG will also launch its renewed 8K model, the commented LG OLED Z2. This model, it seems, will not be available until the end of the year.
LG’s WOLED ‘Evo’ panel technology will compete this year for the first time with Samsung’s new QD-OLED panel technology. And although everything seemed to indicate that perhaps, being its first year, the QD-OLED panels could not compete at the price level, the filtered prices of the Samsung S95B and the Sony A95K say otherwise. So 2022 is going to be an interesting year for OLED technology. We hope to be able to test, sooner rather than later, both the new LG models and some model with QD-OLED technology to be able to see their differences first-hand.

Let’s start the review of the LG OLED 2022 range by model LG OLED-A2which this year will be available in 48, 55 and 65 inches. This new model is equipped with the 5th generation a7 processor, is compatible with all HDR formats except HDR10 +, has Dolby Atmos sound and comes equipped with the new version of webOS. To this we must add its gaming capabilities, such as a response time of 0.1 ms, a latency of less than 12 ms and compatibility with ALLM and HDR HGiG.

We go to the LG OLED-B2a model that also has the a7 Gen 5 processor with AI. Compared to the previous model, the B2 stands out for its gaming characteristics, which this time include VRR support thanks to HDMI 2.1 connectors. It supports nVidia G-sync, AMD Free sync, and Cloud Gaming (via Stadia and GeForce Now).

We continue reviewing the LG OLED 2022 range. It is the turn of the well-known LG OLED-C2that this year, as has happened so far, also comes with different model finishes. As you probably know, the LG OLED C1 was available as C14, C15, C16 and even more. The differences were minimal, with some detail at an aesthetic level and the incorporation or not of WiSE technology.
This year something similar happens, also having more inches available. In terms of features, it is the first model with enhanced panel and, without a doubt, he will once again be one of the great stars of the year.
