LG is, like other giants in the sector, preparing for CES 2022, and how could it be otherwise, one of the sectors in which it will focus its efforts will be professional monitors.
We have been able to confirm that the South Korean company plans to present, at this event, two new professional monitors designed for teleworking, and for classic office tasks: the LG UltraFine Display (model 32UQ85R) and the LG DualUp Monitor (model 28MQ780). Both will have a high build quality, offer a high image quality and have very careful ergonomics.
In the attached table, which you can expand by clicking on it, you will find a summary with the complete specifications of both monitors. The LG UltraFine Display will have a panel 31.5-inch IPS With 4K resolution (3,840 x 2,160 pixels), it will use a 16: 9 (wide) format and will be able to reproduce 98% of the DCI-P3 color space. Its maximum brightness will be 400 nits, it will have a contrast of 2,000: 1 and a response time of 5 ms.
That model will feature a nearly borderless design on three sides, will be adjustable in height, pan and tilt, will come with built-in MAXXAUDIO speakers (two at five watts each), and will be compatible with AMD FreeSync, which means that it will be an interesting model to unite leisure and work in a single monitor.
For its part, the LG DualUp Monitor will have a 27.6-inch nano IPS panel with 2,560 x 2,880 pixel resolution (16:18 format), 300 nits maximum brightness, 1,000: 1 contrast, it will reproduce 98% of the DCI-P3 color space, maintain 5ms response time, and be adjustable in rotation, inclination, height and orientation. They are two very interesting options, although at the moment we do not have details about their possible sale price. However, looking at its specifications, it is clear that the price is going to be high.
