LG updates its OLED TV lineup by 2022

Continuing the trend of recent years, LG has once again taken advantage of the CES 2022 showcase to share the first details about its new line of OLED televisions for 2022, in which it is again promoting improved brightness as one of the main characteristics of its products, accompanied by various improvements in image quality and user experience, and the incorporation of new chips for its entire family.

Starting at the heart of these televisions, the company claims that their new Alpha 9 Gen 5 AI processors They will help to further increase luminance through a smarter algorithm and better heat dissipation, while also improving magnification performance and offering a virtual 7.1.2 surround sound mix. Panels found in the OLED 2022 lineups have been certified by the global product testing agency Intertek to 100% color fidelity and color volume.

Also, all new OLED models will ship with the latest version of the webOS operating system, which adds support for individual profiles to allow menu customization for quick access to your favorite streaming services, as well as other personalized content recommendations, and notifications related to your favorite sports teams.

Another novelty that will arrive with this new version of webOS 22 is the function of reflecting the contents of our television on a second compatible LG screen. On the other hand, the company has also advanced that plans to expand its line of QNED televisions during 2022, although at the moment he has not advanced a date.
