According to data from the Startup Ecosystem Observatory of the Bankinter Innovation Foundation, Investment in Spanish startups reached a record figure in 2021 of 4,300 million euros, almost four times what was collected during the previous year (1,107 million).
A trend towards recovery and economic stimulation in favor of innovation that Fundación Línea Directa wishes to support in the field of entrepreneurship, with a new edition of the Entrepreneurs and Road Safety Award.
The event reaches its eighth edition as a benchmark in its field of action and seeks to recognize the commitment and work of those innovative companies that resist accept traffic accidents as something inevitable. Together with the Fundación Línea Directa, the Entrepreneurs and Road Safety Award will have the support of Línea Directa Aseguradora, the Bankinter Foundation for Innovation and the IESE Business School.
Entrepreneurs who have with projects located in Spain with an already constituted company. The award is open to startups whose business model aims to reduction of traffic accidents and its consequences (prevention initiatives, passive safety elements, or immediate interventions at the time of the accident that minimize the damage), providing differentiating value, different degrees of innovation, organizational, technological and economic viability, and potential for success.
The application period will be open until March 14, and can be done through a form available on the Fundación Línea Directa website and through the e-mail email@example.com.
In April, the jury, made up of various personalities from the entrepreneurial ecosystem, the administration and the company, will choose the winner from among the five finalist initiatives.
Among these finalists will be the winning startup, who will receive 20,000 euros net without “drag” or “co-investment”, training, mentoring and access to financing rounds.
