The startup specialized in IoT telematics solutions for protection of motoristsLiveLink just closed a financing round of 1.8 million euros. The objective is to continue working on its objective of saving the greatest number of lives thanks to the reduced response time after an accident has occurred.
The round, led by the impact venture capital manager Ship2B Ventures -through the BSocial Impact Fund, which has the support of the EIF and Banco Sabadell- and with the participation of Wayra Telefónica Innovation, Sabadell Venture Capital and business angels, will serve to continue improving your protection serviceconsolidate in the Spanish market and strengthen its international expansion.
The company founded in 2018 by Sevillians Jesús Carnerero, Beatriz Martín and Fernando Olea, has developed a technology that is being applied to different market segmentsboth to end users -through the Komobi Moto brand-, as well as delivery companies, large manufacturers in the motor world and leading last-mile mobility companies. “After more than two years of R&D in the development of an IoT solution to protect motorcycles and motorcyclists, we are very proud to be able to be at this stage of growth and diversification of our technology. We can also think how proud he would be of this JFV project, always present in it,” highlights Jesus Carnerero.
This startup, supported by the Minerva Program of the Ministry of Economic Transformation, Industry, Knowledge and Universities and Vodafone, “It seeks to transform the lives of bikers and guarantee them the security they deserve so that they do not fear for their lives every time they get on the motorcycle”, says Jesús Carnerero, CEO of Livelink.
In just over a year, LiveLink has managed to have thousands of connected vehicles and distributed in more than 10 countries and thanks to the technological solution of the Spanish startup, more than 1,600 accidents have been detected. “Our purpose is to save as many lives as possible, offering an exact location to the health services and thus reduce the response time after an accident has occurred, the famous golden hour of accidents”highlights the CEO and co-founder of LiveLink, Jesús Carnerero.

Aimed at a sector in continuous growth, the founders of the startup have realized “that companies care more about their drivers every day. They are looking for solutions that can offer them protection and connection when they are on the street, while at the same time requiring a platform for the comprehensive management of the park”, remarks Carnerero. Since its inception, LiveLink has been able to combine productivity and security to position itself as an innovative solution in the sector.
