The Logitech firm has extended the support of its software solution in the cloud, known as Sync, which now integrates new options of administration and management whose main objective is to simplify the implementation and management of the hybrid work environments.
To meet this goal, Logitech has enabled new options that are focused on teleworking, and that therefore translate into a significant improvement in both remote work environments and those that opt for a hybrid approach. Sync becomes compatible with personal collaboration devices, including everything from webcams to headsets and docking stations, like the Logi Dock, for example, which was recently introduced.
This extension of support makes it easier for IT departments to manage conference rooms, and also workstations from a single cloud-based interface that also has a simple and intuitive interface, which means that it is very easy to use. Scott Wharton, General Manager and Vice President of Logitech Video Collaboration, said:
“Remote work and collaboration tools have contributed in many ways to the continuity of the global economy, allowing us to maintain our productivity during the pandemic. But also, they’ve created a huge problem now that hundreds of millions of people are home and IT teams have limited visibility into technology problems and how to fix them. This situation is a potential productivity crisis. Logitech Sync solves this problem instrumental in extending visibility into what’s happening from the office to the home (or anywhere in between), not to mention a new frontier of insight and analytics to keep our organizations moving and moving forward.”
Logitech Sync offers significant value, there’s no doubt about that, as simplifies IT department tasks, and reduces headaches that revolve around one of the most important tasks and, at times, complicated, equipment support. It is integrated into a single web-based platform, which means technicians can push firmware updates and enable new features to thousands of meeting rooms and millions of personal collaboration devices at the same time.
According to Logitech, Sync works on the most popular cloud collaboration platforms of the moment, such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Google Meet, so any IT team can view all their devices, regardless of the platform used in the company or organization.
