Loki: season 2 will happen!

It looks like the adventures of Loki should not end with the latest installment of the Disney Plus series, given the official confirmation of season 2 of the show.

Unlike the shows WandaVision is Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki will continue his way through one of the MCU’s most fan-favorite series. The announcement comes directly from the credits of the last episode of the series, out today on the platform Disney.

Loki season 2 is officially confirmed

All fans of the God of Deception and the Marvel Cinematic Universe they will be happy to know that Loki will return “to these screens” in season 2 of the series dedicated to him. After leaving the scene in Avengers: Infinity War and escaped to an alternate timeline in Avengers: Endgame, the prince of Asgard has landed in a series of his own where he has become a “variant” outside of space and time.

The success of the series starring Tom Hiddleston, Owen Wilson is Sophia Di Martino led Marvel Studios to plan a second season, to continue where the last episode of the first season stops.

Without going into detail or making spoilers, everything has been told about the Time Variance Authority and his role in controlling the timelines will certainly have an impact for the continuation of the series, which will again have as the protagonist the God of Deception.

A release date has not been announced at the moment, but season 2 will surely come after the current series in the works at Marvel Studios. The animated series will debut in a few weeks What If… while Hawkeye and Mrs Marvel will arrive in the fall.

The series Loki was created by Michael Waldron (producer of Rick and Morty and co-writer of Doctor Strange 2) while the direction of all the episodes was entrusted to Kate Herron. In the cast we find Tom Hiddleston, Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Richard E. Grant, Sasha Lane is Sophia Di Martino.
