Making Science appoints José Miguel Ruiz-Padilla as CEO of IT Solutions

The Making Science company has recruited José Miguel Ruiz-Padilla for the position of General Manager of IT Solutions, reporting to the CEO, José Antonio Martinez Aguilar. Ruiz-Padilla has more than 20 years of international experience in executive positions within the technology and telecommunications industry.

As part of the management team, José Miguel Ruiz-Padilla will lead the strategy and organization of the IT Solutions business area of ​​Making Science.

The new CEO of IT Solutions has a extensive national and international experience, which includes founding his own company in 2003, acquired in 2013 by Ingenia, a Spanish multinational with more than 400 people and operations in 17 countries, in which he has been a member of the Executive Committee and Head of its last two strategic plans, occupying the positions as Director of IT Services and Solutions and later Director of Cybersecurity and Managed Services. in engineering managed to scale the business in Spain and Chile to more than 120 people with important references. In fact, for this reason the company received the SIC Magazine award for the best MSSP in Spain in 2021. Ingenia was acquired by Grupo Babel in 2021.

For José Miguel Ruiz-Padilla, joining Making Science is a new challenge. “Firm growth, supported by a solid internationalization strategy for Making Science, is for me a challenge that I face with hope and enthusiasm. Jose Miguel Ruiz-Padilla is Telecommunications Engineer, from the University of Malaga and has an Executive MBA from the School of Industrial Organization.
