The ranking of the most pirated series in 2021 has finally been released and we reveal to you which productions have tempted hackers the most this year.
Series fans love powers
Topping the list is the Marvel Wandavision series. With its original style and quirky tone, which changes with each episode, Wandavision was the promise of the MCU’s Phase 4 launch after the last movie Avengers: Endgame. It features the characters of Wanda Maximoff and Vision, after the latter’s death. Initially enigmatic, it takes on its full meaning over the 9 episodes, which end with a most theatrical final revelation.
The second series of the ranking is another Marvel production, namely Loki. Another emblematic character of the MCU, Loki is Thor’s half-brother, and the main hero of this production featuring surprising antagonists. This anti-hero is one of the favorite characters of Marvel fans both for his charisma and his humor.
We finish the revelation of the podium with in third place the Netflix series The witcher. The second season, released on December 17 on the platform, was particularly eagerly awaited by fans of the books, but also of the eponymous video games. Not all platforms are created equal
We can see that all SVOD platforms have gone there, with a clear lead for Disney + whose Marvel series are extremely popular. The platform records a high piracy rate with 5 series present in this ranking. Netflix has two series with Arcane, which we particularly adored this year, Apple TV + only has one series with Foundation, Amazon Prime Video also only one with The Wheel of Time.
