Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales is, without question, one of the most anticipated jumps from PlayStation to PC. It was, from the beginning, one of the few titles that, being intergenerational, knew how to take advantage of the performance of PlayStation 5 and it was, as I mentioned at the time, in my opinion one of the main reasons to consider making the leap to the new generation of Sony, although it is true that this operation has been very complicated since its launch.
In this video, you can see the difference between Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales running on a PlayStation 4 and a PlayStation 5:
A little less than a year ago, when reviewing the ten most played titles on PlayStation 5, we saw that only two of them were exclusive to Sony, and one of them was Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, which gives us a pretty clear signal. of the importance of this title when we talk about the new generation. And it also explains why, given Sony’s policy of “opening up” more with respect to PC, so many people have been waiting for this game to come to PC for a long time.
A few weeks ago we learned the technical requirements for PC and, as we already had then, being intergenerational, it is not too demanding, although it is true that, as my colleague Isidro commented, if we want to enjoy it at maximum quality, we will need a team well above of the minimum requirements. If you are considering playing it, I strongly recommend that you read the aforementioned article, because Isidro also detected some errors of equivalences in the requirementswhich are well explained in that text.
The good news is that it has been confirmed that Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales will arrive supporting a huge set of image enhancement technologies, such as ray tracing highlights and shadowscompatibility with NVIDIA DLSS 3, NVIDIA DLSS 2NVIDIA DLAA, AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution 2.1, Intel XeSS Y NVIDIA Reflex and also ccompatibility with ultrawide monitors with aspect ratios up to 48:9 (although the truth is that it scares me to think about the requirements to move it with the maximum quality in said aspect ratios).
We also predicted in the article about the technical requirements, that everything indicated that it would arrive before the end of the year, and it promises to be a great gift for the Christmas campaign (especially if we have the gifts we give ourselves), and today it has been confirmed that this will indeed be the case, since Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales will be released on Steam and Epic Games on November 18In just over a month.
In both stores it is possible to pre-purchase it from today, its price is 49.99 euros and, for the most daring, that is, for those who dare to buy it now instead of waiting to check its operation once on the market, some extras are offered that, in principle, are exclusive to these buyers:
- A pack with two outfits, including the CLUE Outfit and the A New Universe Outfit.
- Early access to the gravity well contraption.
- Three skill points to unlock some skills from the start of the game.
Now I only have one question left… will this PC version keep the memorable and wonderful bug/easter egg of the outdoor stove? I personally hope so.
