Matrix Resurrections unveils its first immersive trailer

Warner Bros and Fortnite are teaming up to offer a video game trailer for Matrix 4. A first.

Matrix is a monument of pop culture, an iconic saga for many lovers of science fiction. Its return to our screens should therefore logically be emulated, 22 years after the release of the first opus in 1999. It will also be an opportunity for a whole new generation of spectators to discover the universe created by Lana and Lilly Wachowski.

To rally them to its cause, Warner Bros. is putting the small dishes in the big ones and forging a major partnership with Fortnite. The studios unveil their first immersive trailer. Baptized Death run, this video game trailer is composed of 5 stages inspired by the scenery of the license, such as the training dojo or the city covered with the green code.

The objective is of course for the players to meet the various challenges and to perform the best possible time, in order to thwart the plans of the matrix. Along the way, they will meet emblematic characters such as Neo, Trinity or even Morpheus (played by Yahya Abdul-Mateen II).

A competition for Christmas

The broadcast of videos from two partner YouTubers, Le Bouseuh and Valouzz, will kick off a competition that will run until December 25. The objective for the participants will be to achieve the best time to win prizes that the firm announces exceptional. The results should be announced on December 25, a nice Christmas present for the lucky ones.

December 22 at the cinema

Matrix Resurrections, fourth installment of the saga, will be broadcast from December 22 on our screens. The film directed by Lana Wachowski, this time without her sister, should plunge us into two parallel realities, that of our daily life and that of the world hidden there. The Matrix is ​​more powerful, more secure and more formidable than ever, and Neo will have to do everything to get out of it.

In the casting, we will find a good part of the original actors. Keanu Reeves will reprise the lead role alongside Carrie-Anne Moss (Trinity). Jada Pinkett Smith will also be there. On the other hand, new faces will make their first appearance. This is the case of Pryianka Chopra Jonas (Quantico), Jessica Henwick (Iron Fist), Neil Patrick Harris (How I Met Your Mother), Jonathan Groff (Mindhunters) and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (Aquaman). The latter will resume the role once played by Laurence Fishburn.

More than a sequel to the third opus, this new film should offer us a rereading of the first opus and offer a foray into modernity.
