Let’s see all the features of these new glasses and, above all, their price, since it has nothing to do with the one announced by the apple company, which left us all crazy. And finally we will analyze which of the two are better, and if there are other big differences between them.
This is what Meta Quest 3 is like
The first thing we have to comment on before seeing their characteristics is that their release will be imminent, since they are already available for pre-purchase and you would receive them on October 10, that is, in less than 2 weeks you could have them with you.
Regarding its design and characteristics, we see two LCD screens at 2,064 x 2,208 pixels each and at 90 Hz, that is, we will obtain a total quality of 4K. We would in turn have a 120Hz modealthough still in testing, but already implemented within them.
Regarding lenses and sensors, we see two RGB cameras accompanied by a pair of headphones with 3D stereo and spatial sound. Here we see a point in favor of the Apple Vision Pro, however, if we go by weight, as is logical by carrying fewer components, we only have 515 grams, something acceptable to be able to endure without getting too tired.
If we go to its components, they would be made up of a processor Snapdragon XR2 Gen2 with 8 GB of RAM and with two versions, depending on the capacity, 128 or 512 GB of internal memory.
Comparing them with the Meta Quest 2, we see a difference in power 2.5 times higher in the new ones. All this when they are connected to a PC. If we want to use them without depending on any other equipment, we can also, although their functions and quality will be lower.
Regarding the battery, they have about 3 hours. We would have liked something more, although we think it is more than enough for a good time of continuous leisure, together with its new controlsmore ergonomic and realistic.
And now, we already know what they have, their availability and other details, but, how much are they worth? Well, it depends on when you are going to purchase them. If you love them and want to try them, you can pre-purchase them at 549.99 euros currently in its 128 GB version or 699.99 euros if you want 512 GB.
You would have all this in your home in less than two weeks. But if they don’t convince you and you prefer to see analysis of them before purchasing them, wait, because it won’t take long for the first leaks and impressions to arrive. They have not talked about a price increase after pre-purchase, so you may get them at the same value, but also seeing real tests about them.
