Micron introduces the first 1.5TB microSD card

In terms of capacity, these new microSD cards represent an important advance, But are they up to the task in terms of performance? This is very important, since in the end those professionals who work with high-resolution content want to have not only a high storage capacity, but also a recording speed that allows them to optimally cover their needs.

Micron has confirmed that these new microSD cards are fast enough to gRecord 4K video while processing up to 8 AI events per second, such as object detection, license plate classification or facial recognition. They also have a long useful life, at least according to the company, since they can work continuously recording video (24 hours) for a period of 5 years and also have resistance to water and shock.
