Microsoft has announced a editing your Teams collaboration tool expressly intended for small and medium-sized companies of a certain size, with functions and characteristics adapted to your needs. This new edition, which the company has called Teams Essentials, has a cost per month and user of 3.40 euros.
Teams Essentials will allow users who hire it to hold group meetings of up to 30 hours and in which up to 300 people can participate. Each paid user will receive 10GB of cloud storage space. It is double what the free version offers, which has seen the cloud space it offers reduced from 10 GB to 5 GB, after completing the exceptional measure due to the pandemic that made it rise to 10 GB. It also includes all the features of the free edition of Teams.
Among them, the following: integration with Google Calendar (coming soon) and with Outlook Calendar, sending invitations to participate in meetings without having an account in Teams or the installed application, meetings with a waiting room to enter meetings, virtual wallpapers, Together mode and live reactions. In addition to this, there will soon be a new small business group chat template for both web and desktop. On the other hand, Teams Essentials offers support to subscribers and customers both through the web and the phone.
To subscribe to Teams Essentials you can go directly to Microsoft, on the subscription page enabled for Teams. The subscription can also be made through some of the company’s cloud partners.
