Here’s how to play the first Flight Simulator on the latest game

Indeed, Reddit user HuguesMDflyer4 discovered a brand new easter egg in the game. it is possible to play old episodes of the license from the cockpit of an airplane in Microsoft Flight Simulator. Of course, it will take some manipulations to take advantage of it. Here’s the procedure to follow :

  • Start a game with the DA62 plane
  • Settle in the cockpit and switch to subjective view
  • Set the ELT control to On (distress beacon), located on the right side of the control panel

You will see an old interface appear, with the Microsoft logo. You can then choose to launch either Flight Simulator, Flight Simulator 2, Flight Simulator 3 or Flight Simulator 4 by moving your cursor. Note that these are indeed full versions of the games, in other words, all the options accessible at the time are available. This is a gift that will please nostalgics and veterans of the series.
