Just yesterday the official presentation of the Surface Laptop Go 2 took place, an economic laptop focused on mobility that maintains all the keys of the first generation model, and that has received a hardware level upgrade.
In terms of design, the Surface Laptop Go 2 continues in the footsteps of the Surface Laptop Go. It has an understated and elegant minimalist approach, straight lines and slightly rounded corners, and is built in aluminum (lid) and polycarbonate resin with fiberglass (base).
The screen has a size of 12.4 inches, which means that we are facing a compact device focused on mobility, something that is also noticeable when we see that it only weighs 1.12 kilograms. We might think that Microsoft has had to make significant sacrifices with the Surface Laptop Go 2 to achieve that lightness and mobility, but nothing is further from the truth.

The Surface Laptop Go 2 will have a price of 669 euros in its base configuration, which includes 4 GB of RAM and a 128 GB SSD. The version with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB SSD is more interesting, since that extra memory will make a notable difference in the user experience that we will have with Windows 11. It costs 769 euros. Finally we have the configuration with 8 GB of RAM and a 256 GB SSD, which costs 869 euros.
The Surface Laptop Go 2 can already be pre-purchased, but its launch will not take place until July 19 in the case of individuals, or until June 7 in the case of companies.
