The arrival of Microsoft Entra, whose offer of services and functionalities will continue to grow, represents an important step for the company, which now offers a complete set of products that cover the identity needs of organizations, for which it is increasingly important – and complicated – addressing risks as they move forward with their digital initiatives.

Microsoft Azure Active Directory (AD), Microsoft’s flagship solution for identity and access management (IAM), is now part of the Microsoft Entra family, maintaining its valued conditional access and passwordless authentication capabilities. Azure AD External Identities will continue to be Microsoft’s solution for customers and partners within the Microsoft Entra family.
With the acquisition and integration of CloudKnox last year, Microsoft becomes the first Tier 1 cloud provider to offer a cloud infrastructure rights management (CIEM) solution: Microsoft Entra Permissions Management. This tool provides end-to-end visibility into the permissions of all identities (both users, services and applications), actions and resources in hybrid and multi-cloud scenarios.
