Microsoft launches the Surface Go 3 in black

Last December we talked to you about the black version of the Surface Go 3, a new version of the well-known two-in-one ultralight, and compact, from Microsoft. We did not expect important news beyond the color change, but the Redmond giant has surprised us by confirming, in its official presentation, the optional connectivity support 4G LTE.

4G LTE connectivity represents an important value because, as many of our readers will know, it will allow us to always be connected to the Internet without depending on a Wi-Fi connection. This is, for many front-line professionals, something fundamental, and it is, without a doubt, a success on the part of the Redmond giant.

At the design level, the new Microsoft Surface Go 3 in black does not bring changes beyond the color, and the only novelty at the hardware level compared to the platinum color model is the one we have already mentioned, the support of the 4G LTE standard. It is available in three different configurations:

  • Base configuration, with Intel Pentium 6500Y CPU with two cores and four threads, 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB SSD (Wi-Fi). Its price is $ 549.99.
  • Medium configuration, with Intel Core i3 CPU, 8 GB of RAM, 128 GB SSD and Wi-Fi connectivity for $ 629.99.
  • Top-of-the-range configuration, with an Intel Core i3 CPU, 8 GB of RAM, 128 GB SSD and 4G LTE connectivity for $ 729.99.

At the moment, the Surface Go 3 in black is only available in the Microsoft Store in the United States, but we know that it’s just a matter of time until it ends up arriving in Spain. We do not have details about that date of arrival in our country, and we do not know the sale price that this new Surface Go 3 will have here, but it should be very similar to a direct conversion to euros of the prices that we have given in dollars (consequence of the sum of VAT).
