Microsoft relies on the cloud, Windows and Office to continue growing

As for Xbox hardware, revenue improved by 14%, while content and services for Xbox did so by 4%. The revenue from gaming of those from Redmond remained at 3,740 million dollars, 6% more, and according to the CEO of the company, Satya Nadella, 10 million people have streamed games in the Microsoft cloud. Amy Hood, Microsoft CFO, has pointed out that next quarter they expect their revenues to continue growing, although some of their divisions will do so below 10%, and that the war in Ukraine will have a minimal impact on their operating expenses: about 110 million dollars. He has also noted that the COVID-19 production shutdowns in China in recent weeks may have some impact on Windows, Surface and Xbox hardware. In fact, Hood expects Gaming revenue to be down in the current quarter, due to “a decrease in hours of interaction from year to year, as well as the limited supply of consoles«.
