The Redmond giant yesterday presented three new devices with which Microsoft has updated its Surface family, and has done so by betting on a functional diversity quite interesting, as we will see below.
Surface Laptop 5 It is a new laptop that maintains the essence of its predecessor, but has made the leap to Intel’s Core Gen12 processors to offer up to 50% more performance. It has the Intel EVO certification, which is a guarantee of performance, productivity and security, and it comes equipped with Windows 11. Its starting price is 1,179 euros, and will be available from October 25. If we make the reservation we will already take some Surface Earbuds for free.
Surface Pro 9 it is a two-in-one that has also made the leap to the new Intel Core Gen12 processors, which means it offers a high level of performance without giving up great mobility. It is also Intel EVO certified, and promises up to 19 hours of autonomy for each battery charge. According to Microsoft, it improves the performance of the previous generation by up to 50%, and will also be available in a version equipped with a Microsoft SQ 3 SoC, based on the ARM architecture and with 5G network support. It will be available from November 8 with a base price of €1,299. If we reserve it we will take a free Surface Slim Pen 2.
Surface Studio 2+ is a unique AIO type equipment aimed at the professional sector. In this case, the Redmond giant has chosen to mount an Intel Core i7-11370H processor, that is, a Core Gen11, and has accompanied it with a GeForce RTX 3060 Mobile with 6 GB of graphics memory. Its screen is 28 inches, has a touch interface and is mounted on a zero gravity hinge that allows easy height and tilt adjustment. It also promises a performance improvement of up to 50% over the previous generation, and will be available from November 1 with a base price of 5,369 euros.
