Microsoft seeks Artificial Intelligence specialists for its hub in Barcelona

The company has reinforced the recruitment and hiring of talent for its first R&D hub in Spain, located in Barcelona, ​​with the opening of new vacancies for specialists in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Software Development and Data Science.

With these new hires, the hub will reach a highly specialized workforce of close to ninety specialists in software engineering, data science and machine learning, who will focus in the development of AI models to deliver innovative web experiences.

The work of these technicians in research and in the application of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Deep Learning technologies will help develop new functionalities and improve the web user experience in widely used products such as Windows, Azure or Bing.

The Barcelona hub is one of the eight it has Microsoft’s WebXT division (Web Experiences Team) around the world. The WebXT organization works as a start-up environment, where it works assuming challenges that allow improving the consumer experience with products and services such as Microsoft Bing, Edge, and MS News. Likewise, it collaborates in research and in the development of new functionalities with the different categories of Microsoft products, including Azure, Windows and Office, among others.

Diverse talent that grows the local economy

Spain is one of the ten most attractive countries to attract and retain digital talent. It is the fourth country in Europe (after the UK, Germany and France) in number of cloud professionals and developers, which represents around 10% of all professionals certified in these advanced technologies in Europe.
