The Redmond giant is working to bring Microsoft Teams a long-awaited new feature that will allow to improve the user experience in a remarkable way, and that will make Microsoft’s well-known collaborative work platform remain one of the most important and interesting that currently exist in the sector.
Before going to see this new function, it is important to remember that Microsoft Teams has played, without any doubt, a key role during the social and labor transformation that COVID-19 imposed. This collaborative work application has become a fundamental tool for many companies and freelancers who, as a result of the pandemic, had to make the leap to teleworking.
Its simplicity of use, coupled with its versatility, low requirements and integrations with many third-party products, including those developed by Redmond, made Microsoft Teams one of the solutions most popular, and most used, of its kinda reality that still holds today.
In this sense, the updates that Microsoft Teams has been receiving have been essential for the platform to remain at the top. Last January we told you some of the most important news that were to come, and in the months that followed we were also able to confirm the arrival of call control through Bluetooth headsets and the compact mode for chats. Today we can tell you about another novelty, and that is that we will soon be able to choose the directory where the Microsoft Teams files will be downloaded.
Currently, the files that we download in Microsoft Teams go by default to the Windows “Downloads” directory. Luckily, with the next update we can choose any directory as a favorite location for downloading files, and this will be maintained even in the face of future updates, which means that we will not have to select it again.
