The Redmond giant has introduced a major improvement to Microsoft Word and PowerPoint that will make life easier to users of Android devices. Both tools have a great role in mobile devices based on said operating system, including both smartphones and tablets, and it is understandable since they are very useful for making minor modifications “on the fly”, and in any corner of the world.
Writing documents or creating presentations from a smartphone is not comfortable, and certainly not ideal, but for small changes and adjustments, both Microsoft Word and PowerPoint can be a real lifesaver. In this sense, the new option that the Redmond giant has included in the web versions of both tools is very useful, since will allow us to insert images directly from our smartphone, and in a very simple way.
Before the introduction of this function, the process of inserting images was tedious and could waste valuable time. Now we just have to activate this function scanning a QR code that will allow us to link our device with our Microsoft account. Once this is done, we can use it and directly insert images from our terminal in both applications.
To enjoy this function we will also need an active subscription to Microsoft 365, and if we use the Firefox browser it is essential to make sure that it is updated to the latest version. version 104, or highersince otherwise it will not work as it is not supported because it is an “old” version.
Microsoft is still working to improve the implementation of your application ecosystem and Office suite tools on mobile devices, and what it has done with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint is certainly another move in the right direction.
