The OnePulse Institute and TechRadar led a survey of 890 American and English adult Internet users regarding their use of Artificial Intelligence tools of which ChatGPT is the best known representative. It appears from this study that the tools made available to us are met with dazzling success. At least 27% of respondents have used OpenAI’s chatbot before and 12% of them have tried the capabilities of generative AIs such as Midjourney and other Dall-E.

In just six months, consumer AIs have succeeded in radically transforming the world of work. Number of professionals in the creative or tertiary professions fear for their professional future as artificial intelligence has demonstrated its superiority on human employees in many of the tasks that were once reserved for them. The survival of millions of jobs is threatened, and if we are to believe OpenAI, only 34 professions will be preserved from the digital and social revolution that awaits us.

The ChatGPT site welcomes 1.6 billion Internet users each month, a figure that is growing rapidly

Internet users love ChatGPT and the like, and it doesn’t matter that Elon Musk and the luminaries of science and technology are sounding the alarm about the existential danger posed by AI. As the forerunner as much as the leader of this wave of technology, OpenAI is garnering most of the attention. This is reflected in the statistics of visits to its site. Last month alone, no less than 1.6 billion visitors used the chatbot, a impressive 55% increase compared to the previous month.

According to the survey, OpenAI has become “one of the most popular websites in the world […] He went from 51st place in January to 18th in March 2023”. At this rate, online AI platforms risk ejecting Google from the top step of the podium very soon. The Mountain View firm is preparing the response, with Bard, their in-house AI.
