The Morefine M600 is a compact mini PC embedded in a chassis that It reminds us, and a lot, of Intel’s NUC series, although it has small differentiating nuances that, in the end, give it its own personality. Despite its small size, it is a very powerful device, and its price is quite reasonable considering what it offers.
In its base configuration, the Morefine M600 comes with a Ryzen 5 6600U, a chip that integrates a CPU with 6 cores and 12 threads and a Radeon GPU with 6 CUs. It is manufactured on the 6nm node, which means that it is a state-of-the-art solution. The most powerful version of this equipment comes with a Ryzen 9 6900HX, equipped with an 8-core, 16-thread CPU and a Radeon 12 CU GPU. It is also built on TSMC’s 6nm node.
The price of both versions is far apart, as you may have imagined. The version with Ryzen 5 6600U CPU in barebone version, that is, without RAM memory or storage unit, is 575 euro. If we want the model with Ryzen 9 6900HX accompanied by 64 GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD we will have to pay 1,420 euros.
So that the temperature is not a problem, the Morefine M600, something important since the Ryzen 9 6900HX is a quite powerful chip, it comes with a rather bulky cooling system considering the size of the chassis. This dissipation system is made up of a large aluminum radiator, a copper contact base with two large tubes that connect to the radiator, and a fan that expels heat to the outside.
Regarding the connections, this equipment comes with three USB Type-A 2.0 ports, it has a USB Type-A 3.0 connector, it has two 2.5G LAN connectors, it has a DisplayPort 1.4 and an HDMI 2.1 output, and it has with a 3.5mm jack, all located at the rear. On the front it has a USB Type-C connector and two USB Type-A 3.0. The wireless connection is provided by an integrated network card compatible with Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2.
