After the arrival of the cinematic reboot, Warner Bros. Animation is NeatherRealm Studios they have released a couple of videos on the net Mortal Kombat Legends: Battle of the Realms, the sequel to last year’s animated film titled Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion’s Revenge.
Below we can in fact take a first look at the new film while further below, by accessing via YouTube, you will find a trailer prohibited to minors and much more violent than the film focused on the fighting to the death of the video game.

The new film will continue where Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion’s Revenge left off, bringing together most of the previous cast names, including the actors. Joel McHale like Johnny Cage, Jennifer Carpenter like Sonya Blade, Jordan Rodrigues like Liu Kang, Patrick Seitz like Scorpion and Hanzo Hasashi, Artt Butler like Shang Tsung & Cyrax, Robit Atkin Downes like Shinnok & Reiko, Dave B. Mitchell like Raiden, Kintao & Sektor, Ike Amanadi as Jax Briggs & One Being, Gray Griffin like Kiana, Satoshi Hasashi like Mileena and Fred Tatasciore like Shao Kahn.
In addition to the actors, director Ethan Spaulding, screenwriter Jeremy Adams, producers Rick Morales and Jim Krieg, and executive Sam Register, will return for the sequel with Mortal Kombat co-creator Ed Boon as creative consultant.
The film doesn’t have an official release date, but is expected to land somewhere in late summer 2021.
