MRW adopts technologies from DXC Technology and Nutanix to optimize its deliveries

The express transport and logistics service provider MRW has signed a five-year contract with DXC Technology and Nutanix focused on the transformation of the company’s IT systems through hybrid cloud technologies, with the aim of increasing the speed and agility of your parcel delivery services, as well as increasing protection against security threats that may lurk in your network.

Thanks to this agreement, MRW, which currently has two data centers in Barcelona, ​​will deploy hybrid cloud technologies that run on Kubernetes containers. In this way, the company hopes to achieve improvements in several of its areas. Among them, in your DevOps teams, who will be able to modernize your applications and deploy them in the cloud faster. This will lead to an improvement in the launch time of new MRW services.

This solution that MRW will deploy to achieve this will use the pay-per-use model, which will also allow MRW to control its costs, while at the same time achieving the necessary flexibility for its growth. In addition, MRW will take advantage of the capabilities that DXC Technology offers in terms of security, as well as the company’s experience, for the construction and development of a backup and immutable system. With it, the company will have a tool with which to protect its data, which will also allow it to be quickly restored in the event of a ransomware attack.
