Among them are the Raider GE78HX 13VI and Titan GT77 laptops, both oriented to the execution of very heavy tasks.

We start with the MSI GE78HX 13VI, which has been spotted in the Geekbench 5 database to show all its internal features. This equipment will include the processor Intel Core i9-13980HX, which is geared towards laptops and has scored 2,097 single-core and 22,062 multi-core. Those numbers show that it performs around 4% less than a Ryzen 7950X for desktops, although it is also true that the Core i9-13980HX is based on the same silicon used for desktops, but slightly adapted for laptops.

Delving into the characteristics of the Intel Core i9-13980HX, it has a total of 24 cores that add up to a total of 32 threads. The base frequency with which it works is 2.2GHz, while at most it was able to reach 5,386MHz mounted inside the MSI GE78HX 13VI laptop. As dedicated graphics it will almost certainly be NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 4000 series, most likely a high-end model.

On the other hand, the MSI Titan GT77which according to the manufacturer is The world’s first laptop with mini LED display running at native 4K resolution and 144MHz frequency. This team aims to have its main value in the screen, which is powered by AUO’s AmLED Mini LED technology and promises super bright feedback, decent HDR performance and wide color gamut support.

The display of the MSI Titan GT77 is expected to have a 1,000 nits peak brightness, which is 2.5 times more than a normal LCD screen, and also, thanks to its 1008 dimming zones, it should offer a sharper image with less halo. High peak brightness and AmLED adaptive control technology adjust images precisely and dynamically in real time and also provide decent HDR performance.

The Titan GT77 is certified for VESA DisplayHDR 1000 and supports 100% of the DCI-P3 color spectrum. Thanks to MSI’s exclusive True Color technology, each Mini LED panel in Titan GT77 will be strictly examined before assembly and accurate color reproduction is promised. Obviously, all this display of graphics will be accompanied by a next-generation NVIDIA GeForce graphics.

The Titan GT77 has confirmed its launch for the 2023 CES to be held in the US city of Las Vegas, while the GE78HX 13VI we have no record of its presence at the event, but seeing the showcase it represents, the logical thing would be that MSI seize the opportunity.
