MSI has announced the new product line Business & Productivity, what includes personal computers based on Intel 12th generation Core (Alder Lake) processors and the latest monitors from the series Summit & Modern.
MSI is one of the largest companies in the sale of high-performance equipment and components for consumption, with a significant presence in everything that smells like gaming. This week has held the virtual event The Next Playground which our fellow MCs covered in depth and where we saw their first MEG and MAG rigs with Intel’s new Alder Lake processors; motherboards to support them and many monitors.
For a long time the company, in addition to everything it has for consumption, has been introduced in the space of professionals and companies like this new series that we are going to talk about in this post.
MSI Business & Productivity
AIOs. One of the most interesting novelties comes to its line of AIOs Modern AM Series. They are compact equipment all in one They include the display screen and the electronics of a PC in the same device. Attractive and functional, they are expressly designed for businesses, home offices or the education sector.
It includes models such as the AM242 and Modern AM272 differentiated by their screen size of 24 and 27 inches, which debut the Alder Lake processors that Intel has launched this week and also pre-install the latest Microsoft operating system, Windows 11.
The displays include MSI’s Anti-Flicker technology, which eliminates flickering and effectively reduces eye fatigue caused by long-term use, as well as a mode that reduces blue light emissions. Both models have a built-in webcam and MSI Sound Tune software that supports noise cancellation technologies. The series is offered in seven different color finishes to match office or home décor.
Compact PCs. Another novelty under this MSI Business & Productivity series are the PRO DP21 and PRO DP130. All-new business and productivity computers featuring reduced form factors of 2.3 and 13 liters respectively, which can fit in any home study or workspace.
MSI says that the objective of these teams is «provide a more secure place for your business information«. Hence, the support for TPM 2.0 technology stands out, mandatory as a minimum requirement of Windows 11 that is delivered pre-installed.
Intel’s twelfth generation processors (up to Core i7) also debut and can equip up to 64 Gbytes of dual-channel memory. MSI has also enhanced the graphics section by including a dedicated NVIDIA GeForce in the PRO DP130 model. In the software section, the company offers the MSI Center for general control or the Smart Priority function that allows users to organize hardware resources.
Monitors. MSI has also covered the peripherals section and in addition to the Optix and Artymis series consumer models, it has presented the Summit MS321 specifically for a professional market that needs great color accuracy. The monitor offers 32 inches of diagonal and native resolution 4K (3840 x 2160 pixels). The panel is delivered pre-calibrated from the factory and supports the 136% sRGB color gamut and 95% DCI-P3.
The display has undergone rigorous testing to ensure smoother color gradations, better uniformity, and high color accuracy with a color difference value. delta-E (? E)? 2. The Summit MS321 includes a magnetic cover and a built-in card reader for intuitive and fast file backup and sharing taking advantage of the transmission speed of its USB 3.2 gen 1 connection.
The monitor has a smart sensor that will automatically detect the surrounding ambient light levels to adjust the brightness and color temperature on the screen for convenience and supports KVM function for keyboard and mouse control of various devices.
