This Monday, February 28, 2022, the Mobile World Congress (MWC), the major mobile phone fair, will open its doors in Barcelona. After two years of virtual conferences, the event is back in physical form. As always, the Spanish fair will be accessible to the press two days before the opening to the general public. The festivities will therefore begin on February 26, 2022.

Despite the collapse of its sales and the American sanctions, Huawei is determined to make an appearance at MWC 2022. The Chinese giant has just announced the organization of a conference this Sunday, February 27, 2022 within the living room. The presentation will begin at 2:30 p.m. Paris time.

What will Huawei present at MWC 2022?

To announce its arrival, Huawei simply published a teaser poster on Chinese social networks. According to the mysterious illustration chosen by Huawei, the conference should be devoted to the product ecosystem of the Chinese brand. The planets probably evoke the interconnection of devices under HarmonyOS, its mobile operating system.

The presence of a planet could also suggest that Huawei plans to deploy a series of connected objects across the globe. The presence of the firm at the MWC show, a European show, also points to an internationally oriented launch.

Moreover, Huawei has not given any concrete indication of the products that will be presented in Barcelona. It is always possible that the group chooses to launch an Android phone on the European market, just to ensure a minimal presence in Europe.

Obviously, other brands will storm the MWC with a host of new products. This is the case of Samsung. On Sunday February 27, 2022, Samsung should unveil a handful of new smartphones at bargain prices, such as the Galaxy M33, Galaxy M23, Galaxy A53, Galaxy A23 or Galaxy A13, as well as a range of Galaxy Books.

Honor, a former subsidiary of Huawei, will also be there. This Monday, February 28, 2022, the Chinese brand will unveil the Honor Magic 4 range, its new premium phones.
