Mythic Quest renews for a third and fourth season

Mythic Quest

Mythic Quest, the comedy from a video game studio available on Apple TV + and for which the first two seasons are already available (the last episode aired last June) just renewed for a third and fourth season, thus ending the uncertainty that the fans of the series had.

Apple has announced the renewal of Mythic Quest through the Apple TV + Twitter account, with a video where Rob McElhenney (one of the creators of the series) call Anthony Hopkins (winner of two Oscars from the Hollywood Academy for The silence of the lambs and The father) to tell you the good news, who in turn receives a call from Jason Suedeikis (protagonist of Ted lasso).

Mythic Quest has been created by Megan Ganz, Charlie Day and Rob McElhenney, the latter known for It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Anthony Hopkins plays the narrator in the last episode of the first season of Mythic Quest, episode number 11 that aired a week before the premiere of the second season.

Apple affirms that the critical and public success that this series has had have been more than enough reasons to renew for a third and fourth season. He claims the Apple TV + chief programming officer, Matt Cherniss:

We can’t wait for viewers to see what awaits us in the upcoming seasons of this brilliant workplace comedy.

In addition to Rob McElhenney, who plays the creative director of the fictitious company, Ian Grimm, the cast includes Academy Award winner F. Murray Abraham, Danny Pudi, Imani Hakim, Charlotte Nicdao, Ashly Burch, Jessie Ennis, and David Hornsby, who is an executive producer.

The cast also includes Naomi Ekperigin, Caitlin McGee, Humphrey Ker, Chris Naoki Lee, and Jonathan Wiggs. The series is produced for Apple TV + by Lionsgate, 3 Arts Entertainment, and Ubisoft Film & Television.
