We talk about new “I love it” button! which is represented by two thumbs up and will be located right next to the Like and Dislike buttons.
As the company has declared through a Press release: “Our current like and like buttons are a great way to tell us how you feel about a show or movie, and in return you get a more personalized profile to your liking. However, we have learned over time that these feelings can go beyond a simple like or dislike. Providing an additional way to tell us when you really like something means a profile with recommendations that better reflect what you enjoy.”

Netflix wants to improve its recommendations
The truth is Netflix’s AI is the most complete, since the recommendations it makes are usually quite successful. But with this new button, the big N is going to have things much easier, since now it will be able to know what you like, content that you love or what you don’t like.
It should be remembered that Netflix had to withdraw its rating system due to the fact that it did not serve to improve its recommendations, so in 2017 they decided to bet on thumbs up and thumbs down. Now, they will add a new Love button.
To say that Netflix has announced that You will be able to find this option next to the Like and Like buttons in your app for TV, Web, Android and iOS mobile devices starting today. Of course, we have tried to access the platform through different channels and, at least for now, the new I Love Netflix function has not appeared. Therefore, we can assume that they are carrying out a staggered deployment, so all you have to do is wait for the corresponding update that adds this new button.
Undoubtedly, excellent news for platform customers, since they will now have a new tool that will allow Netflix to better understand our tastes and interests in order to offer us better recommendations.
The on-demand content platform knows that the number of customers is not growing as before, so they have to look for new alternatives to secure the users they currently have in their portfolio, in addition to increasing browsing time on their website as much as possible. So, with this new option, the streaming giant will get us to browse the Netflix interface longer by reviewing all the recommendations it has made to us.
