Netflix has finally included the first games in its catalog, but it does so with quite a few restrictions, since at the moment it is a trial period that will be limited to one market. This has been announced in the official account of Netflix Poland, where they have already announced the arrival of the first two games to the service, although several points need to be clarified in this regard:

  • The games, as we have already said, are only available in Poland.
  • There are two: Stranger Things: 1984 and Stranger Things 3
  • They are games for Android, since the Netflix application takes you directly to the Play Store so you can download them for free.
  • Games do not include advertising or in-app purchases.
  • They can be played as long as a Netflix subscription is maintained

Stranger Things: 1984

It is a game with pixel aesthetics reminiscent of The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, and where we will have to put ourselves in the shoes of Hopper and the group of children to complete the different adventures and tests that are presented to us by Hawkins . Each character will have their own ability, and the maps are full of secrets and unknown places.

Stranger Things 3

This time this adventure is based on the third season of the series, and with an isometric perspective it will immerse us fully in the narrative of the series, with a series of unexpected twists that will surprise fans. The most striking point is that it has cooperative mode locally, so you can play accompanied with someone.

When can we play?

For now, Netflix has commented that it is still “very, very early” to start thinking about their games, so we fear that the wait will still be quite long. After the brand hired former EA and Zynga executive Mike Verdu, it is clear that the company must have prepared several aggressive moves in the sector, however, everything will go at a fairly prudent speed and without haste.
