Netflix has become part of everyday life for many and, for some, an indispensable service like an internet connection. That’s why the idea of being able to get your hands on a subscription to Free Netflix (legally speaking, of course) is something that piques the interest of many.
Well, now Netflix has announced that it has actually already launched a completely free subscription, even if we are talking about a project that is currently limited only to the territory of Kenya and Android mobile devices.

Today we are launching a free plan that allows people to enjoy ad-free Netflix on Android mobile phones in Kenya. When you sign up, no payment information is required. All you have to do is enter your email, confirm that you are at least 18 years old and create a password. So you can sit back and watch many of Netflix’s most popular series and movies, as well as enjoy our personalized recommendations, parental controls and profiles (including children).
It therefore seems that the Netflix free plan contains only some original products of the video streaming service, and not the entire catalog of the platform.
As specified in the press release, Netflix’s free plan came to life yesterday in Kenya but the Californian company’s hope is that, after trying the service, many decide to switch to a paid plan.
“We hope it turns out to be a great thing and that many of the people who try our free plan love Netflix to the point that over time, they may decide to upgrade to a full paid membership.”
