After the small town of Springfield and the future, Matt Groening explores a medieval universe with Disenchanted. A fantastic tale that prepares for its return on February 9 on Netflix.
Whereas The simpsons Now in its 34th season, another series from Matt Groening is set to make a comeback. The creator will reveal in just a few days the continuation of Bean’s adventures in Dreamland. The fourth season of Disenchanted, “Disenchantment” in the original version, is preparing to invade our screens. A few days before this return to the medieval universe of Groening, the platform finally decides to show us the first images.
As a reminder, Disenchanted follows Princess Bean to the wonderland of Dreamland. With her fondness for the bottle and her companions Elfo and Luci, she crosses paths with magical creatures like ogres, goblins and harpies. The young woman must navigate between her responsibilities as an heiress and her pronounced taste for adventure.
We find Bean there where she left off, about to take over the throne of Dreamland and celebrate her marriage to Alva Gunderson. A union that will allow the merger of Dreamland and Steamland. But as so often with the series, things will not go as planned. She will once again have to face Queen Dagmar. His father will also give him a hard time, as will his companions Elfo and Luci. A new epic quest in the medieval world also awaits him.
For now, we do not know if Disenchanted will be entitled to a fifth season. It must be said that if the series seems to have found its audience, it is still far from the success of the creator’s previous productions: The Simpsons on your mind.
A busy program in February
Disenchanted will not be the only animated series to join the ranks of the Netflix catalog in February. The platform will also reveal The Cuphead Show!, adapted from MDHR’s video games. A much more childish series, but which should attract the curiosity of fans of the license and neophytes. The date is set for February 18.
All these beautiful people should nevertheless be upstaged by Vikings: Valhalla, real event for this month of February on Netflix. The spin-off of the History series must land on our screens next February 25.
