Netskope introduces Cloud Exchange to streamline IT and security operations

Netskope has announced his Cloud Exchange managed and shared telemetry and security solution. In addition, the company has announced the expansion of the Cloud Risk Exchange module of the solution, which enables the sharing of application risk scores and insights with technology partners BitSight, SecurityScorecard and ServiceNow. In this way, companies can have more visibility into the risks that are associated with their ecosystem of applications, whether they are managed or not.

With Cloud Exchange as a Netskope managed service, organizations can use the platform without having to dedicate staff to provisioning, deploying, and managing it. Thus, security teams can speed up the time they invest in incident resolution, in addition to better scoring risks and improving intelligence contextualization.

As for the Netskope Cloud Risk Exchange module, it now includes application risk plugins from BitSight, SecurityScorecard, and ServiceNow. The CRE module makes it easy to exchange and normalize risk scores between security solutions. It also allows adaptive policy controls in support of zero trust principles. In addition, you can automatically generate investigations from Cloud Ticket Orchestration (CTO) service tickets.

With these new features, CRE is able to assess the security posture and risk of the application by comparing the risk scores of different security applications. In addition, it uses internal and external telemetry to obtain data on the risk of the application, through the Netskope Cloud Confidence Index (CCI).

Andy Horvitz, Vice President of Business Development at Netskopehas pointed out that “a As they experience increased reliance on the cloud to run their businesses, organizations are looking for an easier path to gain greater efficiencies while improving their overall security posture. Cloud Exchange, as a managed service, fills a significant need for enterprises with limited resources, helping them expeditiously operationalize the rich cloud intelligence of Netskope across their security stack.”

James Robinson, Netskope Deputy CISOhas recalled that «andno In most cases, customers alone do not have access to the same information that Netskope and its partners can collectively provide regarding applications within their third-party ecosystem. Netskope’s added input of application risk scores, combined with pre-established user and device risk assessment, provides unmatched insight into third-party cybersecurity risks. The added capabilities and new partnerships with Netskope demonstrate their commitment to extend the functionality and value of the Netskope Platform to meet growing market demand.”

Anyone who wants to get access to Netskope Cloud Exchange can do so, in addition to Netskpe, Github and AWS Marketplace. Also through Netskope channel partners.
