The South Korean company has surprised us with its second generation of LG Ergo professional monitors, a line focused on productivity, comfort, ergonomics and flexibility, four values that are crucial in any modern work environment, and that of course make an important difference.
We can differentiate two different versions, the LG Ergo Dual and the LG Ergo Single. The first incorporates two IPS panels 27 inch with QHD resolution (2,560 x 1,440 pixels), reproduces 99% of the sRGB color spectrum, supports HDR10, is factory calibrated, supports AMD FreeSync, has a 5ms gray-to-gray response time, uses an ultra-thin edge design, and offers ergonomics and dimming. perfect.
For its part, the LG Ergo Single model comes with single 31.5-inch panel that maintains the specifications of the previous one, including both the resolution and the type of screen, the design, the ergonomics, the response time and the reproduction of the color spectrum. It does present, of course, an important difference compared to that one, and that is that it mounts a pair of “Max Audio” stereo speakers of 5 watts each.
Both models are designed to offer the user high image quality, thanks to its IPS panels, some perfect viewing angles at 178 degrees, which makes them a viable option for making presentations, and to carry out tasks that require the collaboration of several employees, and can be placed and adjusted perfectly, and without effort.
LG too has taken maximum care of ergonomics. In this sense, we can highlight the adjustment options of the LG Ergo Dual, which can be adjusted in height and rotation up to a maximum of 150 mm and 335 degrees, respectively, while the LG Ergo Single can be adjusted in height and rotation in a maximum of 130mm and 335 degrees. On the other hand, the LG Ergo Dual can also be configured both horizontally and vertically, which is ideal for carrying out certain editing, writing and programming tasks.
Both models can be installed using articulated arms that are fixed to the desk without the need for screws, and that are compatible with tables and tabletops up to a thickness of 75 mm. This reduces the space they occupy in the workplace, and translates into high versatility and great adaptability.
We still do not know the prices that these two models will have, but we know that both will begin to reach the market starting this month, so it won’t take long to find out.
