Apple TV + has released the trailer for the new family series “The Surfside Girls”, which will premiere on Friday, August 19. Co-developed by WGA Award winner May Chan, who also serves as showrunner, along with Alex Diaz and Julie Sagalowsky Diaz , and based on author Kim Dwinell’s best-selling graphic novel series of the same name, the series follows best friends Sam and Jade as they solve supernatural mysteries in their sleepy California beach town. The “Surfside Girls” must combine their opposing strengths of imagination and logic to solve the seemingly supernatural mysteries that lurk just below the surface of their city.
“Surfside Girls” stars Miya Cech, YaYa Gosselin, and Spencer Hermes-Rebello. The series is produced by Endeavor Content and IDW Entertainment, and co-developed, written and produced by Chan, who also acts as showrunner. Paul Stupin is executive producer.

The new family series “Forward” also premieres on Apple TV+ this Friday, July 22. Based on the book “Just Don’t Fall” by Paralympic athlete, motivational speaker, and comedian Josh Sundquist, the series follows 12-year-old Josh Dubin as he goes from homeschooled to public school excited to experience everything! that the school has to offer!
