Ninja plays dirty to announce his next move in streaming

Ninja’s Fake Break

We have already seen before how many streamers and youtubers decide to take a well-deserved vacation after not stopping broadcasting for a long time. This is a widespread problem among many serious streamers, since the demands of the algorithms force them to broadcast constantly so as not to miss the wave that is taking them to the top of the internet landscape.

But leaving aside how live streaming services work, the truth is that many users seriously suffer the consequences of this constant pressure, and on many occasions it ends up leading to mental problems that not everyone knows how to manage. The most notorious case was that of Rubiuswho voluntarily announced an indefinite break (it lasted several months) with which he could clear his mind and not feel overwhelmed by pressure.

This break is always necessary, although most users can neither afford it (competition is tremendous) or do not know how to manage it. And Ninja seemed to have taken this step, since with a rather terse tweet in which he assured that he needed to rest, he confirmed his disconnection until further notice. No specific date. Everything pointed to a mental break, but in the end it seems that none of that.

ninja everywhere

Fortnite’s most popular streamer is back, and he’s back again with another announcement tweet. The tweet includes a video hosted on YouTube in which he confirms his return, but in a very special way, since with the message “I’m going to be everywhere” he officially announces the end of his exclusive contract with Twitch.

This will essentially allow you to post your streams to YouTube, though exactly how the move works remains to be seen. Obviously social networks like Instagram and Twitter will be present, but here the news is in the appearance of YouTube, direct enemy of Twitch. Both services have been constantly poaching content creators, so if Ninja is on both it’s interesting to say the least. We’ll see what this leads to.

A dirty business strategy

But if there is something to talk about, it is how Ninja has used the strategy of mental rest to later make an important announcement. It is basically a dirty marketing strategy that, although it did not directly say that it needed to rest physically and mentally, its complete disappearance and blackout from the networks invited to think about it.

Many users have shown their dissatisfaction about it, since the 8 days of silence sound quite bad compared to the message that I supposedly let see. Currently you can see their live broadcasts on Twitter, YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, Instagram and Tik Tok. Who will be the next to follow him?
