Noise: here is the trailer for the live action taken from the manga by Tetsuya Tsutsui

Noise the manga thriller miniseries by Tetsuya Tsutsui which has been a great success becomes a live action film that has recently shown itself with the first trailer.

The film will debut in Japan on January 28, 2022 and will put the events of this short but very intense story on the big screen. Will live action be able to recreate the typical atmospheres of the manga that made the fortune of this miniseries?

The story comes to life in a country town that suffers from a steadily declining population due to aging and migration over many years.

But when a local farmer starts producing a product known as a “black fig”, which becomes fashionable and viral on social media, money, opportunities and the attention of the press do not take long to reappear.

It is then that Izumi Keita, keeper of a black fig plantation, meets a man with a mysterious air and past and with unclear purposes…

Published in Italy by J-POP Manga (which you can find HERE) the manga was serialized in its original language in Grand Jump magazine in 2017. It was later published by the Shueisha publishing house, with the latest volume being published in March 2020.

Noise crew and cast

The release date is now close, so the names of the staff members and actors have already been revealed. Sho Kataoka takes care of the screenplay, Ryuichi Hiroki is the director while Yoshihide Otome composes the music.

Tatsuya Fujiwara will take on the role of Keita Izumi while Ken’Ichi Matsuyama will be Jun Tanabe.
