When about a year ago the first power chargers with GaN technologywe knew that this would be an important qualitative leap for said accessory, essential for all of us.

With this new technology, we already saw that the chargers of the future would be smaller, and with more power. Well, they have been on the market for a few months now. And a new one just appeared. Today Nomad has presented a small charger with double USB-C connector and 65 W of power. Almost nothing.

While there is speculation that Apple may soon launch a new 35W USB-C dual connector charger, the firm nomadic goes further and has just introduced a new 65W USB-C dual port power adapter with GaN technology and a very small design.

with power system ProCharge, the 65W power adapter is capable of directing full power to either port when charging a single device. When charging two devices simultaneously, ProCharge automatically redirects power to both ports, but not equally. The load is spread over 45W to the top high speed port and 20W standard speed to the bottom port.

Its main characteristics are the following:

  • 65W power output
  • Dual USB-C PD ports
  • Built with GaN technology
  • ProCharge Power Philosophy
  • Compact size
  • flip tips

At the moment you can buy it on the official Nomad website, with a price of $69.95but if you wait a few days you can find it without problems on Amazon, or in the usual distributors of the brand.

Without a doubt, the irruption of the GaN technology is transforming that accessory that we all irremediably use if we want to charge our battery-powered devices. Chargers are now more efficient, more powerful, smaller, and safer.
