NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050, will we see it in June?

The future GeForce RTX 4050 and 4060 are undoubtedly the two most anticipated models of the current generation from NVIDIA. Because? Very simple, because they will be the two cheapest options to be able to make the leap to RTX 40 and, in this way, being able to take advantage of all the novelties of the Ada Lovelace architecture, such as DLSS 3 with its frame interpolation technology, a technique so successful and interesting that AMD has decided to replicate it in FSR 3.

It is no coincidence that NVIDIA has reserved the cheapest RTX 40 models so that they are the last to reach the market. As we have already told you on several occasions, after the brutal lack of stock that we experienced throughout 2021, a host of circumstances has caused a significant stock of RTX 30 series cards to be generated throughout 2022, to which the Assemblers have wanted to release it, something that would have been more difficult if the GeForce RTX 4050 and 4060 had reached the market sooner.

However, the fact that there has been a very measured delay in the arrival of these new models on the market does not mean that the wait is going to take forever (although for some it will begin to take forever from day one), both NVIDIA and the Assemblers know that these launches cannot be delayed excessively, so rumors and leaks are already beginning to appear about the dates on which we will see the debut of these models on the market.

According to a tweet Posted by MEGAsizeGPU, it looks like the release schedule for the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti and GeForce RTX 4050 is now closed, with the end of May for the 4060 Ti and the month of June for the 4050. According to their information, the only date that has not yet been decided is that of the highly anticipated RTX 4060, which will be the last of the most anticipated to hit the market, hopefully not much later.

There are, however, other rumors that it may not be necessary to wait as long for the 4060, as it could arrive at the same time as the 4060 Ti, both at the end of May. However, this rumor is in the minority, in reception, compared to the one that indicates that there is still no chosen date. (https://whatthefab.com/) In this way, the schedule of upcoming releases would look like this:

  • GeForce RTX 4070: April
  • GeForce RTX 4060 Ti: end of May
  • GeForce RTX 4050: June
  • GeForce RTX 4060: determined

It is striking that, unlike what was seen with the previous generation, as well as with the launch pace of current generation models, the GeForce RTX 4050 is not the last to hit the market, although this could be due to some sources They claim that the largest volume of stock in the RTX 30 series is the RTX 3060, probably the model whose sales would be most threatened by the arrival of the RTX 4060 on the market.
