NVIDIA improves the performance of its GPUs in Adobe

The celebration of Adobe MAX has been one of the most important events of the year for professionals, and NVIDIA has taken advantage of it to present a new studio controller which substantially improves performance in different applications, such as Photoshop Lightroom Classic, Premiere Pro and Photoshop.

Among the most important improvements that NVIDIA has indicated, we can highlight:

  • Substance 3D Sampler: which with the newly added photogrammetry feature allows artists to turn photos of real-world objects into textured 3D models in a few simple clicks. This feature is in private beta, with more information coming soon from NVIDIA.
  • Adobe Photoshop: Neural filter technology powers the new Photo Restoration beta feature to improve image quality, while the AI-powered object selection tool dramatically reduces labor time when selecting a particular object within an image.
  • Adobe Photoshop Lightroom Classic: AI-powered masks allow users to easily identify and mask key elements within an image to add filters and create higher quality artistic designs.
  • Adobe PremierePro: Thanks to AI-driven features, it is possible to improve performance with NVIDIA GPUs. These features include Unsharp Mask and the Time Posterize effect, adding to the list of existing accelerations, such as Lumetri oscilloscopes, motion graphics templates, and Auto Color intelligent color correction.
